Akeerah has a deep love for the arts and, in the future, she's planning to study art and design in college and then build an art studio and open a museum.

Congratulations to Gerniah Scott, 2021 ACCEL Senior Scholar, for her induction into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Bishop State Community College. She was among six high school Dual Enrollment students inducted alongside 90 Bishop State college students.

In her free time, she likes to do puzzles, watch anime, or exercise. Ashia also enjoys researching some of her interests which include architecture, ancient history, and geometry. One fun fact about Ashia is that she loves to do hair!
