Gregory ”Pops” Dunson (@gpopsd ) led his Alexander HS team to a Georgia 5A State Championship last night, scoring a game-high 25 points, including a half-court 3rd quarter buzzer beater that propelled them to a 4th-quarter surge.

Oh, Alexander’s opponent featured the two sons of former NBA star Jarvis Hayes. Two nationally ranked underclassmen. Basketball in Georgia is different.
