The third organization we chose was the Greater Flint Urgent Relief Fund, which is helping the citizens of Flint, Michigan.

Today, EcoAccessories made $900 in donations from the revenue of the last two weeks. This is in addition to $300 donated last week. We can’t thank you all enough for making this possible.

A little about the charities we selected. Two of the donations went to GoFundMes that are supporting undocumented citizens in Washtenaw County and Southeast Michigan during this time.

Since we’ve both lost our second jobs, this will help us stay financially stable, motivated, and able to donate to charity all at the same time.

Wow!! We had to close our shop twice over the weekend to catch up on orders and restock! Not a bad problem to have but we want to keep helping. We’ve caught up and restocked and the store is open.

So far, we’ve made $1,200, all which will be donated to COVID-19 relief funds!

Our policy moving forward will be to donate 30% of profits to COVID-19 relief. When we started making face masks, we did not grasp how high the demand would be. This has taken over most of our free time.
