This is economic sabotage.

With this decision today, Australia is a poorer, weaker nation.

Productive land is taken out of commission, food production is hit - so we’ll pay higher prices at supermarket and taxpayers foot the bill so the carbon credit scam industry can flourish.

Nine newspapers are now reporting that Nine News has axed Karl Stefanovic over his interview with Tommy Robinson and, unbelievably, his support for Ben Roberts-Smith.

A veteran Australian broadcaster interviews a controversial figure, says something the corporate media class doesn’t like, and suddenly the suits move in.

These are not the actions of a news organisation that should champion free speech. They are the actions of an out of control corporate media giant.

Nine wants Australians to watch its programs, read its papers, trust its “news” and swallow its moral lectures.

But when one of its own steps outside the approved script, they throw him overboard to keep the activists, advertisers and newsroom commissars happy.

Fine.

The CitizenGO campaign to stop Nine from sacking Karl Stefanovic will now morph into a major boycott movement.

We will be calling on Australians to boycott Nine.

We will be calling on political leaders to haul Nine’s bosses into the spotlight, grilling them in parliament on why they’ve made this decision.

And we will be calling for Nine’s free-to-air broadcast licence to be pulled.

If Nine wants to behave like a censorious corporate bully, then it should not enjoy the privilege of broadcasting into Australian homes on publicly-controlled spectrum.

Who is Ursula von der Leyen? The EU's unelected president and architect of escalation in Ukraine now facing questions about communications with the Ukrainian Dictator Zelensky.

Von der Leyen occupies the most powerful office in Brussels without ever facing a popular vote from the European people. Her relentless push for deeper EU involvement in Ukraine and sustained military support stands out even by Brussels standards.

Born into wealth and political priveledge, her ascent bears the hallmarks of inherited advantage. Her father, Ernst Albrecht, was a prominent CDU figure who served as Minister / President of Lower Saxony from 1976 to 1990. He leveraged huge family resources and connections to secure an early European posts for her, placing her in elite schools among the continent's emerging centrist establishment and building the Brussels access that would define her career.

The family's anti Russian posture was standard West German Cold War fare, firmly pro NATO and anti Moscow. Her grandfather, Carl Albrecht, made a fortune in Bremen on cotton trading wealth (with its transatlantic plantation links) she's a real old school globalist.

She married Heiko von der Leyen in 1986, entering a noble family with significant land holdings, including Bloemersheim Castle. That lineage carries its own historical baggage, including relatives with serious ties to the Nazi's, Her career has been defined by priveledge amd placement rather than talent, as Germany's defence minister from 2013 to 2019, she championed higher military spending and NATO expansion and also presided over a major Nazi scandal inside the army. As European Commission president, she has driven successive failed rounds of sanctions against Russia, this reflects family doctrine more than fresh strategic thinking.

Her record in office is littered with dubious failures. The "consultant affair" saw around €150 million directed to McKinsey and other firms, (bypassing proper procedures) only €2.9 million was properly declared. Two mobile phones from that period were wiped clean before being handed over in 2019, an action opposition MPs described as a cover up. The Gorch Fock training ship refit ballooned from €10 million to €135 million on her watch. Troops reportedly trained with broomsticks while costs spiralled.

Then came the vaccine contracts. In 2021, von der Leyen exchanged text messages with Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla ahead of a €35 billion deal for up to 1.8 billion doses. She's been investigated by the European Ombudsman and the EU's Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) The messages were later declared "lost" Billions of doses of the controversial went unused. Wasted.

Theres more, Her doctoral thesis faced plagiarism allegations that drew little lasting scrutiny from the client media. Multiple audits and inquiries have been contained or ignored.

Its now clear that Von der Leyen's position survives on networks, family name, and institutional protection rather than transparent merit. Her salary, pension, and the broader costs of EU policy fall on European taxpayers, while her own family and the political class remain insulated from the conflicts they endorse.

None of her relatives will serve on the front lines of the wars they are willing to prolong.
