@IT_Coaster_Guy@_w_o_b_b_o_w_@whale6x Yeah something like that is definitely a good idea, hell any fixed rate loan is better than a credit card even if it’s on the high end for interest. I just recently consolidated a lot of mine to save money on minimums and to have a realistic timeframe for paying it off.
@whale6x $20k would be really nice I could pay off all my revolving debt (credit cards, etc) and be left with only long term loans like car, school, etc.
@nib95_ Also the picture they were using is from Punisher almost 10 years ago now. She’s 41 now people age a lot from early 30s to early 40s she’s a mature woman now. So makes sense why she looks a lot more like your screenshots from a very recent series.
@mattapplepi@K__Med Could pack lunch for fairly cheap if you buy in bulk and meal plan I guess but I don’t have a lot of time so I use factor and hellofresh a lot and those are around $10-$15 per meal and don’t have to go grocery shopping or use gas that’s a billion $ per gallon now.
@mattapplepi@K__Med Not really, I guess it depends where. Around where I live. If you get fast food it’s $10-15 probably if you go to a restaurant a lot have lunch deals in similar range. I guess maybe in NYC or LA could be that much for a simple lunch but people also mage more there. It’s relative.
@Lissalalalala I love FF8, my favorite Final Fantasy, I really haven’t played it in a long time though, I kind of wish they’d remake it similar to 7. But preferably as one normal sized game not 3 massive ones.
@Puertorock77_ 1st off I’ve never understood the sentiment of you should scrimp and save and barely get by. Maybe some people want to enjoy their lives and shouldn’t need a fortune to do it. 2nd regardless of whether a person can budget or not inflation is a huge macroeconomic problem right now
@nib95_ I’m enjoying it so far, as something different between runs in Saros and exploring in Crimson Desert. I also like these types of narrative adventures to kind of just relax a bit between very gameplay heavy games.
@ymnis_v1 Trails is awesome if you haven’t played any others from the series that’s a good place to start. I recently started working my way through it and trying to get into the series. Hoping to finish it before the 2nd chapter remake comes out.
@DiskHorseNoJock I hadn’t even noticed that, so it’s very late 90s. Start of the Napster era even, that was the height of mixed CD burning. Before Metallica ruined it all lol.
@DiskHorseNoJock@sapphix8ed lol I was just about to mention this part. The whole game is obviously about the early/mid 90s the very beginning of the CD ripping era.
