JUSTICE UNDER THREAT: ALLEGED CORRUPT POLICE OFFICIALS AND THE DELIBERATE COVER-UP OF THE MICHEAL BHEKUMUZI SANDLANA FRAUD CASE
Serious questions have emerged about alleged interference by senior police officers (Brigadier Cronje and Sergent Tshivhadekano from National Investigation Unit) in a fraud case involving Fraud, Bribery and Murder accused Bhekumuzi Sandlana after investigating officers (IOs) had their docket removed under what they describe as false pretences, obstruction, and possible protection of suspects. According to official Estate records, court documents and criminal dockets Pretoria Central Cas 450/02/2022 and Alberton CAS 264/07/2023, shocking details have emerged in these cases.
The allegations point to a fraudulent Smart ID created after the death of Mr MG Modise which was also confirmed by Home Affairs in terms of Section 212 statement.
This fake ID was allegedly used to unlawfully transfer two buses belonging to the Modise estate into a company owned solely by Sandlana (Ntate O Lerato Pty Ltd): CP 80 GF GP and BD 25 RW GP, where the obtaining of duplicate RC1 was done in Mabopane Licensing department by Mr JM Mogale , changing of ownership done in Pretoria Central Licensing department by Mr JR Mashaba and the scraping of 1 bus done in Themba Licensing department by Mr J Baloyi .
Key allegations include:
* The late Modise never had a Smart ID, he passed on 09 February 2016, and yet a fake one was allegedly generated by Sandlana on 13 February 2017.
* An impersonator allegedly submitted an affidavit pretending to be Modise.
* Transfers were processed even though Modise was already recorded as deceased on NaTIS.
* Home Affairs, Mabopane Licensing & Tshwane Licensing systems were allegedly used to push the fraud through.
* CIPC records reportedly show Sandlana as the sole director of the company that received the buses.
This aligns with a broader pattern of identity related fraud allegations: Sandlana is currently on trial in Pretoria Central for allegedly faking the death certificate of his estranged wife.
His spokesperson also facing bribery allegations has publicly claimed that police “will never” take a statement from him, raising questions about interference and protection.
This case is bigger than two buses.
It’s about a fraudulent identity created for a man who died in 2016, allegedly used to divert estate assets and manipulate state systems.
When a deceased person’s identity can be forged…
When estate assets can be moved using fake documents…
When police dockets can allegedly be altered…
It becomes more than a criminal case it becomes a test of our justice system’s integrity.
However, these developments are not surprising as Sandlana has shown the extent to which he can go when he bribed a High Court Judge.
The conduct of Warrant Officer Tshivhandekano, acting in concert with Brigadier Cronje, raises profound concerns of deliberate obstruction and abuse of authority. Not only did he represent to fellow investigators that the matter was investigation-ready and that arrests were imminent, but when the Alberton investigative team progressed towards that very outcome, he abruptly intervened to seize control of the docket through irregular and opaque means. This was done without the knowledge or consent of the complainant and in clear deviation from established SAPS procedures governing the lawful transfer of case dockets between units. Such actions, viewed objectively, suggest a calculated effort to derail the investigative process at a critical stage. The subsequent closure of the Pretoria Central case (CAS 450/02/2022) as “false” and “yielding no crime committed,” despite the existence of substantial prima facie evidence, reinforces a troubling inference: that the investigation was not concluded on its merits, but rather prematurely extinguished.
I watched an episode of PNC, where Tsitsi was destroying DJ Sbu’s brand & MOFAYA in the name of comedy. Instead of calling him out, Mpho Popps just laughed
"A Black person’s enemy is another Black person. The one who will bring down a Black-owned company is another Black person"
■ He went to KZN and politically interfered in police stations, summoning meetings in a huff and undermining command structures.
■ He encroached on Masemola’s operational space at SAPS, issuing reckless directives to disband units without involving departmental management.
■ Now he is undermining the Madlanga Commission, interfering with its processes by covertly coaching CI handlers to testify, dangling promises of “eternal happiness” and (financial) freedom.
What exactly is wrong with this person?
