@froggy_phd 6k is the recommended limit, and when setting it to 6k video bitrate, the audio bitrate (default: 160) pushes it a bit over the 6k limit. 8k is the hard limit i believe.

under Stream -> Advanced Options, you can suppress the warning.

@AokiralVT you should restrict the bitrate to whatever the stream was set to/QP to the same as your recording. If you use H.265 instead, you can get away with a smaller bitrate without degradation.

@tofuscatcafe I would avoid the iPhone X anyways, since it has issues with FaceID. XR and XS are the oldest I'd recommend to avoid update and FaceID issues

@tofuscatcafe Another tip I have for finding a used phone is to try and look for one with defects. I've been able to buy several iPhones for cheap because they didn't have data but worked fine on WiFi. Cracked screen/back as well. Just make sure FaceID works and it's not iCloud locked.

@tofuscatcafe If it's just going to be for streaming, iPhone XR/XS are probably the cheapest to find used that work well. IPhone X is more prone to overheating.

For managing temps, I have a little heatsink and fan glued to the back of the phone I use for face tracking.
