@burnedout2ashes You're welcome! As I said I still think the novel lacks in some aspects but I do think it does a way better job in characterizing them bcs its more detailed
@burnedout2ashes Bu yeah, Caesar's obssession is totally egotistical and is something Caesar works on later in the novel, giving Lee Won sm space actually that lw realizes how he was misstreating him lol
@burnedout2ashes He wasnt with Caesar for obligation but he also wasnt sure he wanted to be with him forever, both can coexist, and it's only when Caesar starts to changes and he gets more attached that this changes (we mostly see these changes in the novel special so I get why u think like that)
@burnedout2ashes Also this sums up pretty well how he feels abt Caesar for most part of the extras and why he acts the way he does, he was still pretty much conflicted
@burnedout2ashes He was the first person he fell in love with and I can totally see why lol, so I dont see why he wouldnt become obsessed since Lee Won is the only person who matters for him, he never had anyone like that before
@burnedout2ashes He saw Lee Won was someone he could trust, Caesar never had that before, someone genuine and compassionate who actually cared abt him, not even Dmitri is like that bcs Dmitri only cares abt the ideal he has of Caesar in his head, so Lee Won was someone like no other in his life
