@tennis_insights I guess for some of them the data wasn't available yet by the end of 2025, but you could use the earliest available data, like February for Fils.
@tennis_insights I think these players have the error:
Arthur Fils
Jack Draper
Tommy Paul
Hubert Hurkacz
Daniel Merida
Stefanos Tsitsipas
Thiago Agustin Tirante
Titouan Droguet
Martin Damm
Roberto Bautista Agut
Arthur Gea
Gael Monfils
Pablo Carreno Busta
Roman Andres Burruchaga
Marco Trungelliti
@Gill_Gross@LevAkabas@tennis_insights I don't know if this Arthur Cazaux data is accurate but if so he's disproving my hypothesis, along with Hubie whose serve rating has improved since I first gathered the data. Maybe the upper bound wasn't the limit I thought it was.
The Top 8 servers according to TDI when adjusting for height vs the top 10.
In the top 10, the best servers relative to height are:
1. Shelton
2. Sinner
3. Fritz
4. Alcaraz
5. FAA
6. Zverev
7. Cobolli
8. Tiafoe
9. de Minaur
10. Medvedev
@Gill_Gross@LevAkabas@tennis_insights For the top 9 servers for height, there is a shockingly close-to-perfect correlation of 0.999 between serve rating and height, despite height being rounded to the nearest inch, suggesting these players may be close to the limit for humans with current technology.
Top 10 R = 0.85
@Bali_Maha Started by asking for the greatest players who made it to number 2 and never won a Slam and the LLM misinterpreted that. Goran hadn't won a Slam yet when he got to number 2. Then was lazy and didn't check the list properly. https://t.co/xk7cvdsucE
@jameskhansen Vacherot's forehand rating and backhand rating are both around 7.3, and a 7.3 forehand is substantially better than a 7.3 backhand. Are you saying the forehand is bad at this tournament specifically?

New Alcaraz movement rating just dropped.
Who wants to predict where Sinner will be?
9.0: Alcaraz
8.9: De Minaur, Moutet
8.8: Tommy Paul
8.7: Cobolli
8.6: Musetti (despite injuries?)
8.5: Fokina
8.3: Munar
8.2: Cerundolo, Baez

@applegreen1089@Gill_Gross@tennis_insights@LevAkabas I guess I need to update the list again: add Sinner and Djokovic, remove Fran, update the others. I'm curious why they don't include it on the TDI leaderboard yet.
@applegreen1089@Gill_Gross@tennis_insights@LevAkabas I didn't realised they had the movement ranking already back in Rome! Here's the last time he played a non-Slam match, the final against Ruud in Rome. (I don't think they show these insights at the Slams)
@srg_1309@Gill_Gross@tennis_insights@LevAkabas Interesting. Thanks. Half of the data above including for him was from 3 months ago. I wonder if his movement has declined or if they just haven't stabilised.
@stevensweden4@Gill_Gross@tennis_insights@LevAkabas Got it. It must be tricky to avoid too much overlap with groundstroke quality. Better movement results in better groundstrokes through better preparation, but could result in some bad groundstrokes too that another player wouldn't have even got.
