@SportsRadioWIP It's equally JT's fault for calling the fastball when he even said "any other pitch probably gets him out". I don't understand why you toy w/ pitches sometimes when you don't have to. If someone has HORRIBLY missed a pitch, you throw that pitch until he at least fouls it off.
@975TheFanatic@asalciunas975@JohnKincade@ConnorThomas975 I've been saying this for yrs; you get the proven MLB talent; you don't gamble on the "what ifs". If we were able to trade Painter 4 a true all-star bat, you do that because we have Sanchez, Wheeler, Luzardo, & Nola already... Meanwhile there are 9 lineup spots; at least 5 stink.
@TheRedStripesSG And it's sickening that they both barely are on pace for 100 RBI. It's because the entire Phillies philosophy is bass-ackwards. They're always about "being aggressive" or "attacking the pitcher" when the philosophy should be about wearing the pitchers down and getting on base.
@FoulFactor@noochiecector@MLB Misiorowski had 49k's and 6 BB's.
Sanchez had 39 K's and 3 BB's.
You simply divide the K's by the BB's to get 13 K/BB ratio for Sanchez and 8.17 K/BB ratio for Misiorowski.
@FoulFactor@noochiecector@MLB You need to understand it first. @noochiecector was correct.
Sanchez had a 13 K/BB ratio in May
Mis had an 8.17 K/BB ratio in May
Sanchez beat Misiorowski in K/BB ratio in May.
@BrinaBombs The newly revitalized patient-at-the-plate Trout would do WONDERS for the Phillies lineup...if he was the player he was the previous 3 seasons, then he wouldn't make as much of an impact...but since he's gone back to his approach which WORKED for him for so long, he'd be AMAZING.
@JoshReynolds24 Really cool of the ESPN broadcasters to show that whole thing and respectfully not talk over it. 😊👍 Awesome stuff.
To answer your question...Yeah, that is the best that I can remember seeing.
@LionintheSenate@andersonjake188@JeffPassan Lol...i get it, as a Phillies fan, a lot of OTHER teams suck to me too...but, just to be clear, the Phillies are not doing a six or seven man rotation, it's a five man rotation and he does NOT normally get "7 days of rest" 😆 It was just how the days lined up that he got 5 starts
@GOATRodgersSZN@JeffPassan@ChoccyMilkMan98 That speaks to his dominance...while he was pitching...I'm not disputing that...but the fact is, he came out of the game regardless of the reason, and he left the game in the hands of his teammates while Sanchez saddled the responsibility of the majority of his starts.
@Its_Maddawg_@Keaton0613@BaseballWRLD_ #1 reason Sanchez should get it over Misiorowski:
Sanchez only relied on his teammates to pitch a measley 6 innings in his 5 starts.
Misiorowski relied on his teammates to pitch a staggering 15.2 innings in his 6 starts.
That's 9.2 innings more. Over a whole GAME worth of innings
