That’s a wrap - we’re finished. We’ve done everything possible to help ease the burden on people, especially at this time of year. Whether it’s been through having no where to sleep, sleeping on the streets or relying on homeless accommodation. Week in and week out, year in and year out, we’ve witnessed the growing homeless crisis, with so many children and families living in homeless accommodation. We all read about the statistics but yet we know the faces behind them.

We’ve done everything we can to alleviate the burden from handing out 28 hampers to our soup run where our table was laden down with everything you could think of. We had six tables full to the brim yet we still ran short with eleven people not receiving food. For those eleven people, we were reassured when another soup run popped up. It goes to show the importance and need for soup runs in Dublin City. Even though we know the new by laws are coming into effect early next year, these will be the people who will suffer.

With that being said, we want to thank everyone out there - we couldn’t have done anything without your unwavering support. We are extremely honoured and privileged to be in this position. We can’t thank you enough for the support and loyalty you’ve shown us. We will continue to advocate for those less fortunate and continue to do the work that we do.

We would like to wish everyone a lovely holiday season with their family and we will be back on St Stephen’s night

An IOF tank fired on the building with 6 people murdered and dozens injured.
