Today the Pope has removed Pope Emeritus Mathew for abuse of power. He has been left with the position of cardinal.

Cardinal Eugenio affirms that he has submitted his resignation to the Holy Father and is awaiting his response.
He has not given public reasons for what he is proposing that resignation, but it has come very suddenly without anyone expecting it.

The Cardinal has said that he was delighted with the visit and despite being unexpected it has been organized and he has really liked the treatment they have given him.

Today i had the honor to travel to Basílica Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Chiquinquirá in Venezuela,to preside over the Episcopal Ordination Mass of @_AngeloVasquez_ as Coadjutor Archbishop of Maracaibo.

Today a press conference was held,where made official that WYD will be held in Navarra and he also thanked the nations for the support that the Vatican receives. Even so, I condemn the nations that have the death sentence legal, declaring that only God has the right in our lives.

Today the Holy Father, together with Cardinal Eugenio, traveled in the Papal Helicopter to Berlin to bid the final farewell to the Auxiliary Bishop. It was an unofficial visit. His Eminence Eugenio held a few minutes of prayer accompanied by some clergy from the diocese of Berlin

Cardinal Eugenio, after returning from the wedding in Brazil, made a stop in Spain where he met with Jaime, Archbishop of Pamplona and Tudela. At the end of the meeting, the cardinal confirmed that WYD will be held in Pamplona within a month.
