Our U18 football boys wrapped up their Dubai tour in style with a superb 4:2 win over Man City Dubai!

Down 2:0 at halftime, the team showed grit and determination, sticking to a classic English 4-4-2 that caused the Emirati side all sorts of problems.

Year 6 visited Reception during story telling week and joined in with drawing club to write and draw about the adventures of ‘Tiddler’. The children practised their phonics, sounding out many CVC words using their skills. What a successful session.

Three of Ackworth School’s Football Academy players, Chester, Charlie and Reece, were selected this week to join the Harrogate Town Academy side in their FA Youth Cup third round match which ended in a 3 – 1 victory against Birmingham City.
