How are you? 🫂
We want to hear from you and know how you’re feeling after the election.
Whether you're feeling hopeful, frustrated, or somewhere in between, please take a moment to share with us: https://t.co/ymeC43dkv2
We've got your back.
While this moment may feel bleak, the ultimate power in our democracy lies with the people, not with any single elected official.
We have faced the reality of a Trump presidency before, and we know what is possible — but there is reason to have hope.

We would like to thank Rep. Sherry Dorsey Walker, Rep. Sean Lynn, Rep. Eric Morrison, Rep. William Bush, and Sen. Kyle Evans Gay for their leadership, and the many advocates of the Delaware Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, whose efforts and commitment led to this moment.
VICTORY—Yesterday, Gov. Carney signed House Bill 70, legislation that ends the use of Delaware’s death penalty!
With HB 70 now law, Delaware turns the page on an archaic, unjust, and discriminatory practice.
The message is clear: the death penalty has no place in our society.
First up we're celebrating La Esperanza, a bi-cultural, bilingual leader dedicated to supporting Hispanic communities in Sussex County and beyond. They help individuals access employment, housing, education, residency, citizenship & more.
🎉 We’re thrilled to spotlight our Kandler 2024 honorees during #HispanicHeritageMonth ! This year we're honoring some amazing leaders serving Hispanic communities in Delaware:
