Giribala’s bail in the Twisha Sharma death case was cancelled by the High Court.

Legally, every case has its own facts.

But socially, the question is brutal:

When a man is allegedly m*rdered, the system debates paperwork. When a woman d!es in her matrimonial home, the system moves with presumption, pressure and speed.

A husband’s d*ath cannot be reduced to a clerical defect.
A man’s life is not cheaper because he was born male.

A dead man also had parents. A dead man also had dreams. A dead man also deserved urgency.

Equal law cannot mean maximum sympathy for one gender and procedural patience when the victim is a man.

Bail is not acquittal. Trial will decide guilt.
But men’s deaths deserve the same seriousness, same outrage and same institutional aggression.
Justice should not change its tone based on the gender of the deceased.
