Get off of it if you can. I was on a high dose for years. It caused major cognition issues no one warned me about. I weaned myself off and feel normal again.
@Sassafrass_84 Once I took my kids to an indoor playground. A kid was pulling around my tiny 8 yo by his shirt. His 3 yo little brother decked the kid. His explanation? “Nobody hurts my brother.” He’s always been protective of everyone from a young age.
@Sassafrass_84 I’ve told my kids to ignore very small things like a light shove. Not worth the trouble. But a real hit? Or someone trying to restrain you to bully you? Go off. I don’t care what the school does. My kids will never be in trouble with me for defending themselves.
@Iamkrebkira My MIL passed before we were married. My husband isn’t super close with his family. So at gatherings it’s just my dad and husband hanging as bros and usually my mom and I fighting 😂
@RadMothering I’m 44. My mom wouldn’t shut up about it. But then I didn’t start until I was 15 and I called her at work to tell her and she was all snippy with me when I said I “thought” I started. “Well did you or not?” Untreated mentally ill moms are just a blast.
@RadMothering WHAT. Did you have the mother from Carrie? This is insane. I’m sorry you went through this. I even discuss periods with my boys (in a general not personal sense) because knowing normal body functions is not shameful. Their response is that they are glad they aren’t girls
@MindOfNaijaLife@hell_line0 When I was dating I always showed up ready to pay my share because I cared more about getting to know the person than getting something for free. I also didn’t want the date to feel I owed them something.
@ThrillaRilla369 My husband would be stoked. He grew up poor and isn’t picky and would just be thankful for a meal. If I made something close to this, it would be from scratch and have at least some vegetable like mushrooms in it.
@iWomansplainer They’re cold so they assume your baby is cold. Now I have teens that will forget or argue about coats in the winter but wear hoodies and track pants when it’s in the 90s. I can’t make it make sense.
