I am hearing reports of some airlines only offering flight credits to passengers for cancelled flights. 

Let me be clear — you are entitled to get your money back promptly if your flight is cancelled and you don't take a rebooking.

@somanysigns9 @meganamegra @thecindynoir It's not. Violence is often a response to a real/perceived threat to wellbeing. The fear of being shamed = threat to some. Actually being shamed intensifies that emotion and reinforces maladaptive behavior. Anger is often the only socially acceptable emotion for boys to express.

@thecindynoir I believe there is an underlying mental model where embarrassment is perceived to hasten some sort of threat to safety. Which is wild, considering the inability to name/process that emotion effectively often results in behavior that makes others feel unsafe.
