We have been shortlisted to advertise this fully-funded PhD as part of the University's Leverhulme Doctoral Scholarships Programme for Interdisciplinary Resilience Studies (PIRS). This would be for an autumn 2025 start and with an application deadline of 31st January 2025.
We were lucky to be joined by the wonderful @LauranDoak today, who took us through an excellent presentation on understanding how minimally verbal autistic learners communicate. Fascinating insights into multi modal analysis & working with systematic/ idiosyncratic communicators.
In today's lab meeting, we explored the concept of 'allyship'. The conversations sought to further our shared understanding of what being an effective 'ally' means and how this manifests in our work.

At today's ACoRNS lab, our very own @AmandaHindASC took us through a great presentation on her upcoming research on the school experiences of black, and black mixed heritage, autistic women and girls.
