Our enterprise CDN contract expired, and the vendor sent the renewal quote 14 days late—with a massive 3x price increase.
Today, their direct sales rep bypassed our reseller just to tell us that if we don't accept this new price, we will be penalized with retroactive fees. We feel completely threatened and backed into a corner right now. Has anyone else in the tech space experienced this kind of aggressive sales tactic? We really don't know what to do. 🆘
Hi @eastdakota@Cloudflare. Is this the standard for Enterprise customers? We received our renewal quote 14 days AFTER the contract expired, with a massive 3x price hike. Even after reducing our committed usage, the price is still absurdly high.
What's worse is the excess pricing: ~$100 per 1TB of bandwidth? ~$3.10 per 1M Workers requests when your public site lists $0.30? Why are Enterprise customers being penalized with excess rates 10x higher than pay-as-you-go? We need a fair explanation. #Cloudflare
