UPDATE FROM BAMUTAKUDDE.
The Chairman's Children's Party was a success! 🎉
Over 200 children from Bamutakudde & neighbouring villages came together as they prepare to go back to school tomorrow.
We cooked together, ate together, danced, played football, swam & enjoyed theatrical plays by the children.
I organize this every holiday so every child feels they belong to this village. Their smiles say it all.
Wishing all our children a great 3rd term!

The Tooro succession saga has taken a dramatic turn. Prince Edward Kijanangoma Rukidi was announced as the successor to King Oyo, despite appearing surprised when contacted by NTV shortly after the announcement—raising questions about who actually proposed his name. His past work in Rwanda under the name Eddie Nkurukenzire has also attracted attention.
The controversy deepens because President Museveni had earlier said King Oyo left a son who could be the rightful heir, while Andrew Mwenda announced George Desmond Kamurasi as the preferred successor.
With Museveni’s emissary Gen. Henry Tumukunde involved in the dispute, the situation has raised concerns that Tooro is being divided over the throne, potentially creating an opportunity for the Museveni government to step in as mediator and gain greater influence.

As a Mutoro from the Toro Kingdom, who grew up knowing how humble King Oyo is, it breaks my heart to share my thoughts with the BBC’s Focus On Africa on his sudden demise.
It’s been a tough day! May his soul rest in peace.

31 years ago, on us, darkness fell. But from the ashes, we rose and chose light. We remember the Genocide against the Tutsi. We honor the resilience. We stand together. Kwibuka means to remember, but it also means to Learn. To Heal. To Rebuild. #Kwibuka31
*Work smart, not necessarily hard*.
Many people work extremely hard, but not efficiently and thus not effectively. Leaving the workplace late doesn't necessarily mean you spent the time productively.
Some people stay late at the work place because they start late. Others waste so much time in meetings; a meeting that is held without an agenda - and without a time limit, easily turns into a "conversion forum", even possibly a "gossip hub".
