The Binghamton Chemistry department is proud to announce a new fund to help our grad students who are in financial need during the summer!
Recipients are chosen based on their financial need only, not from their work as a researcher or TA.
Here's how you can donate to the fund:
And with that, the Junior scientists for a Sustainable World Camp has come to an end! Their second week was busy seeing research labs, exploring the nature preserve, and doing their own research project before presenting it to the community. Fantastic job everyone!!!
The first week of JSfaSW Camp ended with one last hands on lesson, then students began working on their research projects before ending the day with extra fun outdoor activities!
The third day of JSfaSW Camp focused on STEM education where the lessons were full of engaging hands-on activities that explored the Life sciences, physical sciences, and Engineering & Math!
The second Day of the JSfaSW Camp has come and gone! The kids spent most of the day outside in the woods swinging and zip lining, making incredible memories at new heights!!!
