In the United States, one-third of all cancer deaths are a result of tobacco use.

Since 2021, the @FDA has authorized 65 new flavored tobacco products—including e-cigarettes and nicotine pouches that appeal to kids.

That’s 65 times @FDATobacco has put Big Tobacco’s profits ahead of protecting kids. We’re keeping score.

Thank you, @stefanyshaheen, for meeting with
@ACSCAN #CancerVotes volunteers to discuss #cancer policy priorities and the needs of NH's cancer community. Conversations like these help ensure the voices of patients, survivors, and caregivers are heard this #election season.

[ACS CAN New Hampshire @ACSCAN_NH]

New work #ASCOQLTY26 @ACSCAN @ACSNews shows that rural access and cancer mortality gaps persist in the modern era despite overall gains in accessibility and survival. @ASCO

[Michael Bouchard @BouchardforMI]

Thank you to Greenwood’s Andrea Bauer and the @ACSCAN volunteers for our conversation about cancer research funding and access to clinical trials.

For Hoosiers facing cancer, where you live shouldn’t limit your treatment options. I’m working to bring care closer to home. #IN06

[Greg Cunningham @cunninghamfornm]

Great to sit down with @ACSCAN volunteers from Tularosa yesterday. Where you live shouldn't decide whether you survive cancer. I know firsthand how much time matters when it comes to treating cancer. Early screening and access to quality treatment close to home save lives. I'll fight to expand rural healthcare and fund effective cancer research.

[Kailee Buller @BullerforNY]

Proud to support the @ACSCAN Cancer promise 💪 My grandpa passed away due to leukemia (blood cancer) and my grandma passed away due to lung cancer so the vision and mission of ACSCAN is near and dear to me and something I will strongly support as your next Congresswoman for NY-22 🇺🇸

[Marcy Kaptur @Marcy_Kaptur]

Thank you to the @ACSCAN and to the advocates from Putnam County, Toledo, and across Ohio who shared their powerful stories today.

Funding cancer research should never be a partisan fight, and I'll keep working alongside both parties to make sure we’re investing in this life-saving research. A cancer diagnosis is hard enough. No one should have to fight for their life while fighting the health care system at the same time. That’s why I’m fighting to lower the cost of screenings and treatment, expand access to quality care close to home, and restore the funding to Medicare and Medicaid that was cut by the Big Bonanza for Billionaire’s Bill.

Thank you to the advocates, survivors, and families who shared their stories and are leading this fight. I’ll keep fighting with you in Washington.

🌸BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH🌸
Shout out to all of the amazing advocates who support patients and families every single day! Thanks to the advocacy of groups like @ACSCAN and @ACSCANWisconsin, we passed Gail's Law this year. Now women at high risk for breast cancer have increased access to critical screenings for early detection 🩷

[Congressman Seth Magaziner @Rep_Magaziner]

Joined the @ACSCAN Rhode Island Research Breakfast this morning.

So many have lost loved ones to cancer. We must continue funding research to improve prevention, treatment, and access to affordable care.

[ACS CAN NC @ACSCANNC]
