lt was great to be able meet with Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans @CostasKadis for the second time during his mandate, this time with fellow NGOs in the food policy coalition.

We are grateful that our voice is being heard and to hear about DG MARE's plans to promote sustainable aquaculture, including high welfare and environmentally friendly.

The Commissioner also acknowledged the importance of ensuring our aquatic food imports are sustainable too.

We look forward to continuing the exchanges in the implementation dialogue on aquaculture on 30th June, and seeing our joint priorities reflected in the Vision 2040 for fisheries and aquaculture in September.
