Severe flooding in north Syria has displaced 6,150+ households in Al-Hasakeh alone. Families in camps and informal settlements are hardest hit, having lost homes and livelihoods. Acted is conducting rapid assessments to scale life-saving assistance, supported by @eu_echo.
With @eu_echo support, Acted deployed 2 mobile teams to deliver emergency Camp Coordination and Camp Management services to 7 collective centres in Aleppo, assisting 1,156 IDPs displaced from Ashrafiyeh and Ash-Sheikh Maqsoud following contextual developments in northwest Syria.

Through @eu_echo funding, Acted ensures fire safety in Washokani camp in Northeast Syria. Points were marked to direct people to the nearest shelters with fire extinguishers. Volunteers have also been trained on fire safety.
#CAR | As part of efforts to promote menstrual hygiene and uphold women’s dignity, Acted carried out a targeted distribution of hygiene kits to 210 households across seven identified communities in Mbomou, with the support of @OCHA_CAR and @CBPFs. #InvestInHumanity
Through @eu_echo funding, #Acted rehabilitated a key borehole in Nafasha well field, providing clean water to 42 villages in Hasakeh in Northeast #Syria.
A solar-powered system now ensures a sustainable water supply for around 20,000 people.
#CAR 34% of the population suffers from severe food insecurity. Acted, with support from @Concern and @CdCMAE, is strengthening the skills of vulnerable households in Ouaka through practical nutritional cooking sessions for pregnant women and children aged 6 to 24 months.
#CAR | In Ndénguilo, Acted is building 2 semi-durable blocks of latrines and showers in the FOSA.

In over 70 camps in Syria supported through @EU_ECHO funding, female Acted staff are available to ensure women and girls are comfortable sharing their concerns and feedback regarding the activities.
Through @eu_echo funding, site maintenance works are being done in camps in Syria. Boards were installed to provide camp-related information to site residents.
#CAR In Vougba-Balinfondo, Acted, with support from @CdCMAE, is constructing and rehabilitating essential infrastructure (bridges, health centers) to sustainably improve access to basic social services. The facilities are being handed over to local authorities and beneficiaries.
#CAR | In the prefecture of Haut-Mbomou, 57% of water needs remain unmet. To improve access, Acted is rehabilitating several water points with support from @CBPFs.
#CAR | In Ouaka, 64% of the population needs food security assistance (MSNA, 2024). With support from @CdCMAE and @Concern, Acted is training 270 households in keyhole gardening to strengthen their nutritional resilience.
#CAR | In Grimari, 84% of the population have critical needs in water, hygiene, and sanitation (MSNA 2024). With support from @CdCMAE & @Concern, Acted built 2 new water points and rehabilitated 4 existing ones, improving access to these essential services for 3 000 beneficiaries
In #CAR, Acted has completed three training cycles for local authorities in Vougba-Balinfondo, with the support of @CdCMAE, strengthening their capacities in local governance, transparency, citizen participation, and sustainable planning.
In response to the humanitarian alert in Kalehe territory (South Kivu), Acted, supported by @ECHOeu and @FCDOGovUK, has provided food aid, health and hygiene support specifically for women, and basic necessities kits to nearly 40,000 people.
In #CAR, 41% of the population is experiencing severe food insecurity. With support of @Concern and @CdCMAE, Acted strengthens food security in Yaketche and Lingoubanda via a strategy of empowerment through river and market gardening.
