The Worcester Police Department is mourning the loss of retired Officer Michael J. Foley. He dedicated 21 years of his life to the WPD, from April 2001 to May 2022. Officer Foley worked in Operations, the Vice Squad attached to the DEA, and the Court Liaison Unit. He was 51.

We remember the victims of the tragic Edgewater Technology shooting in Wakefield, MA, on December 26, 2000. Seven lives were lost in this senseless act of violence. On this day, we honor their memory by reflecting on their lives and strive for a better world.
