Fighting to change plans to rename the Second Severn Crossing to 'The Prince of Wales Bridge'. We won't let it be traded away for cheap political gain.
There are more important things that @AlunCairns should be worrying about than an expensive clusterbomb of embarrassment trying to rename the Severn Bridge. Do your job and get the NHS, homelessness and education sorted first. Sign the petition: https://t.co/dM2C3C2TxG
Well, yes. @AlunCairns in case it’s not clear, you don’t have support on this and we’re ready to make a scene until you listen. Do the right thing now and find a way out of this mess. Who will come to your aid now it’s clear there’s no public support? https://t.co/FznTxiYA6P
And yet it’s a Conservative government that’s decided to spend taxpayer monies on a bridge renaming that is of no benefit to the taxpayer. How do you reconcile that? https://t.co/4XdEfrna3y
All the best to @Conservatives candidates standing right across England today in the local council elections. As we see in Wales time and time again, for better services and lower taxes, there’s only one way to go - vote Conservative.
Seems like they thought the people would just forget about it. Sadly for them, we’re not lying down! Early day motion in parliament. Well done Jonathan Edwards et al! https://t.co/3oXheyu3TK
Well, well, well. Who’d have thought? Last time we checked, 17% didn’t represent a majority. This issue isn’t going away any time soon, @AlunCairns! https://t.co/nR45fz6DrO
Do your good deed for the day! Write to your MP asking them to hold the government to account over the Severn Bridge renaming. It takes 2 minutes and you'll get a warm glowing feeling after it, guaranteed. Find them at: https://t.co/Dy0JyCVh1y
You can watch an assembly debate on the Severn Bridge by going to https://t.co/Gsl69dB9ke at 17:45. And did we mention: sign the petition if you haven't already! We're an apolitical group, but we're delighted to see @Plaid_Cymru fight for us all on this issue. Pls RT https://t.co/LCWXSRTACD
Today at 5:45pm we will be holding a debate about the Westminster government's foolish plan to rename the #SevernBridge & Labour's failure to oppose. Watch live on https://t.co/6CpAGIADgW and sign the petition to say, "Not in my name"

@ActionSevern@WhatDoTheyKnow Wales has missed out on a lot of support, with austerity and Brexit excuses. If I was the Prince Charles' adviser, I would encourage him to stand for more funding and social enterprise support for Wales. Rod Liddle really poured oil into the fire.
Well done @DaiLloydAM, @Adamprice and @neiljmcevoy for standing up for this issue yesterday and taking up the fight. You have the weight of an overwhelming 37,000 people behind you. https://t.co/vx5zg8pt7k
37,000 have now signed the petition against the renaming of the Second Severn Crossing. @AlunCairns and @fmwales : the time has come to listen to the people of Wales. We have numbers and we have fight. This is getting bigger & has embarrassment written all over it. Sort it now.
This morning we submitted a Freedom of Information request for information on the costs and correspondence around the Severn Bridge renaming. Read here for more information: https://t.co/2WOSKbeTRz via @whatdotheyknow
Ken Skates says he thinks it’s right to rename the bridge after Charles with no consultation. 7,000 voted Skates into the Assembly, over 35,000 have signed a petition to scrap renaming the bridge. https://t.co/iU3cBZo30f
'It touched a nerve because it doesn't resonate with Wales today, let alone the Wales that we want to build in the future.' @Adamprice wipes the floor with @wgcs_economy Ken Skates on the #SevernBridge question.
Welsh Govt saying Prince of Wales Bridge can be symbol of ‘all Welsh Princes’ is like their claim that Flint’s #ironring was to be symbol of ‘the relationship between medieval Euro monarchies and their castles.’ Both utter rubbish. “Let’s make something up to hide the mess.”
