We want to thank all the students in Eastbury community school that took part in our poster competition . These are just a few of the many posters that where handed in.
The clubs will vary from arts & crafts to drama , music etc where students will be able to express themselves through the arts and have the opportunity to be in a safe environment. Please support us by share our age and using are hashtag #actionthroughthearts
Therefore , action through the arts believes its important to get more young people affected by knife crime involved in arts as it allows them to escape stress on their minds and weโll be opening clubs every half term for students in Eastbury community school -
The arts are also the way we tell our stories as a society . Theyโre how we talk about what is important to us , how we view the world , and how we make sense of complicated issues .
Art has the power to change lives .
In the moment , people enjoy having fun, being with other people, and expressing themselves creatively . Then there are the long-term impacts like shared memories and a broader worldview
- Instead of being on the streets and stressed about any danger that may surround them . Therefore , Action Through The Arts wants to make a change by getting more young people involved in art clubs we will soon be starting !

Getting young people more involved in art can help them overcome stress , heal their mental well - being and allow them to explore different aspects of their own personalities . It allows young people to invest more time in being creative and explore their emotions through art
We propose to help out by encouraging more young people to get involved with the arts and spend more time being creative than being on the streets . Please share our page and use our hashtag to help raise awareness for our cause.

Over the years knife crime has risen drastically & more young people are finding themselves being affected in some kind of way . Maybe because theyโve lost a friend/family member due to it or theyโve been involved directly . Itโs time for a change & to get youths off the streets
