Sometimes friends do things for you without ever expecting anything in return. They don't ask for credit, they don't ask to be repaid, they do it simply because they love and care about you. Keeping aside the way you and the entire house treated him, Harshad gave up a position he had rightfully earned by winning the task simply because you mattered to him. That kind of gesture alone deserved kindness, empathy, and at least a simple "thank you" instead of anger or blame.

Maybe your team didn't realize that the genuine disappointment people felt came from the fact that your friend was having a panic attack, he was literally crying for hours and he still chose to sacrifice his finalist spot for you, yet there was no empathy, not a simple moment of acknowledgement or even basic humanity shown towards him from your side. It was genuinely so difficult to watch. This is where, in our opinion, you went wrong. No one expected you to sacrifice your game for him. No one expected you to give up your own dreams. People simply hoped you'd be there for a friend who was visibly hurting.

I think this is what so many people are struggling to move past. It was never just about the game, it was about the ABSOLUTE LACK OF EMPATHY. It was about how you treated your friend in one of the hardest moments of the season. That's why this has stayed with so many people. We mean no hate to you or anyone, we just hope you reflect on this someday because kindness is something people remember long after the game is over🤍
