For perspective Sakurcon, anime con in Seattle, attendance is around 20,000, my local comic con Rose City comic Con is is over 80,000 and Anime expo, at the same time as Anthrocon, is over 400,000 attendees. Still good numbers but Anthrocon and needs to deal with growth.

Time to address the elephant in Anthrocon main hall, and I don't mean fursuit.
A convention can get too big were it is impractical to have a fursuit parade as currently held in the fandom.

@SporgSensei I would look to smaller convention or evens or even start a local anime group. I want to go Anime Expo because of the size and having the resource to offer an experience not available at my local convention. I don't invest the time and money at bigger convention to hang out.

@anthrocon Well they postponed the Great American State Fair so it's pretty bad in the East Coast take care.
We in Portland well we've been below normal temperatures to normal temperatures maybe we can balance things out somehow.
