Not trying to be a dick, I just want to remind you that you should be studying guides and advice coming from a wide range of content creators and that events like SU are purposefully clipped and hyped as a marketing strategy
No shade to OP, good summary. But: A lot of people are telling me I need to watch SU when 75% of the stuff coming out is common sense you learn just from streaming a lot for 12 - 24 months. I think people are hyping it up inauthentically ie to get seen by other creators
BTW here r the key points for my fellow VTubers:
1. Plan your streams, have ideas that can be turned into YT videos
2. Clips are great, but you have to be authentic in them to retain viewers
3. Make a "Christmas" to keep you motivated aka bigger events/streams you're excited for
Create content good for post-stream? Everyone talks about that
Good clips are authentic? Doesn’t take much time studying clips to learn that
You should stream for more than just money? Said every day on here
“Big events matter” => like *a subathon*?
When a giantess spreads her lips for you, there's only one place you can go~

@denpafish First thing I can think of immediately is if windows turned on its built in (awful) audio enhancement features, proprietary software kicking on, or trying to unplug and replug in. Also confirm everything is set up correctly for sound options and drivers
The smooth seat asset I am making is great for beating up your friends, or picking them up and carrying them around. Whatever you can think of.

I lobby wiped last night with a friend on Cryo, we got 40k and pulled a bunch of loot from all the dead runners
The night before we jumped a gold key, wiped the team, and got their room’s loot
Marathon is one of the first games in a while where a good night has me giggling and smiling, feeling as accomplished as a good day of work
It’s a really good game, it’s also just not for everyone, is what it is
Haven’t played Marathon for a few weeks, jumped back in tonight to shake the rust off in prep for the mid-season update. (There’s a lot of rust, I’m old)
Load straight into Night Marsh because I’m double ‘ard.
Run in circles for a moment then realise I forgot how to turn the flashlight on because I’ve played about 12 different games since.
As I’m fumbling in the settings I hear another player, turns out he had a gold key…
Literally exfilled with more value than I can fit in my wallet and had to leave so much more behind.
Marathon is still amazing, haters are still wrong. Fight me.
You do ASMR live so someone buys your files or purchases the VOD later
You do a huge news stream so you make $ off YouTube later
You do Twitch so people subscribe to your OF
The stream itself is marketing, advertising, or raw content creation for the end product. This is pretty much what every huge successful content creator has figured out, from ASMR to political streams
Ludwig is offering the best advice so far to creators at streamer university in my opinion.
Too many focus on clip farming or just hitting “go live” without a plan.
The moment he showcased he had a stream that made $5000 but the YouTube videos from it generated $25000 everyone seemed shocked, but that’s how it is.
Even for someone like me who isn’t as large as Ludwig I followed his advice video years ago and I’ve always streamed with the intention to make YouTube videos.
Here’s an example from one of my streams. $8 earned that day from streaming - but the YouTube video earned me nearly $900
And this happens consistently.
You shouldn’t look to depend on your community as a streamer, those people aren’t a monetary value, but the content you planned and made out of it can be if you package it right.
💌 and one for my good girl too!
Get relaxed and let me take care of you with lots of little whispers and headpats! My good girl!! Waaah!
