🚨 Revocruit Powered JUCO Alert
We’re excited to announce that Seward County Community College Men’s Basketball has been Elevated to a Revocruit Powered JUCO — joining an elite group of programs redefining exposure, connectivity, and recruiting at the junior college level.
🗣️ “Seward Basketball is more than excited for our partnership with Revocruit. Ever since I met Bash and his coworkers for the first time, they have always been about the PLAYERS FIRST, and that’s what our profession is all about. The platform that the Revocruit team has created is absolutely phenomenal and allows all levels of basketball to stay connected. As coaches, you can get all potential questions answered and have access to pretty much anything you can ask for when it comes to recruiting. If you aren’t using Revocruit, you’re missing out on some big-time stuff.”

🏀 Region VI – Jayhawk Conference
Seward County has a storied basketball tradition, capturing Jayhawk West Championships from 2011–2014 and the Region 6 Championship in 2019. The Saints have made NJCAA Tournament appearances in 1985, 1995, 1998, 2008, 2012, and 2019, continuing to build upon a strong legacy of success.
Notable alumni include Martin Lewis, who averaged 22.6 PPG and was selected 50th overall in the 1995 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors; Melvin Sanders, who went on to star at Oklahoma State and play for the San Antonio Spurs; and Marcus Pollard, who transitioned from the hardwood to the NFL, playing nine seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and now serves as Director of Player Engagement for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Head Coach: Austin Downing enters his first season leading the Saints after serving three years as an assistant at Barton Community College under Jeremy Coombs, where the Cougars captured the 2024 NJCAA National Championship. Coach Downing is focused on restoring Seward County to championship form and continuing its proud basketball tradition.
Revocruit’s Powered JUCO brings a new level of innovation to junior college basketball, making it effortless for four-year programs to track and access real-time information. This added functionality integrates directly into what college coaches already use — bridging the gap between junior college and four-year recruiting like never before.
