On the joyous occasion of the National Day of Singapore, I extend warm congratulations and best wishes of the Government and the people of the Maldives to His Excellency @Tharman_S, President of Singapore, His Excellency @LawrenceWongST, Prime Minister of Singapore and the friendly people of Singapore.
The Maldives highly treasures the unwavering friendship uniting both nations, rooted in mutual trust, respect, and a shared vision for regional peace and advancement. I convey my profound wishes for the ongoing development, unity, and prosperity of the people of Singapore.
On this International Youth Day, we honour one of the Maldives' greatest strengths. Our youth. Their creativity, resilience and determination are shaping our communities and our country in countless ways.
With nearly 45% of our population being youth, their hopes and aspirations are central to our future. This Administration is committed to continuing creating more opportunities for higher education, skills development and meaningful employment. Furthermore, initiatives such as the National Apprenticeship Programme and National Service Programme strengthen pathways from education to employment.
I am confident that, in the hands of our youth, the present as well as the future of the Maldives will be one of prosperity, resilience and sustainable development.

On #WorldHumanitarianDay, we stand in solidarity with humanitarian personnel around the world who risk their lives in the service of humanity.
At a time of growing humanitarian need, nowhere is the failure to protect civilians and aid workers more evident than in Gaza. The Maldives condemns the obstruction of humanitarian aid and violence against relief personnel and reiterates its call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire.
We honour those who serve as humanitarians, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice so that others may live. Their courage demands our collective commitment to uphold international humanitarian law and ensure the protection of all humanitarian personnel.
