Dawson was his first son. The first son to a father is an incredible bond that only God can accurately explain.

I bought a cold plunge 8 months ago and have absolutely loved it. I have loved it so much that I have recommended this company to three others.

Unfortunately my plunge broke last week and when I went to get the company to come fix it, under the full warranty, I discovered that @thecoldplunge has absolutely no way to communicate directly with a human being. No chat bot, no email, no customer service number. Instead I had to do 21 steps - no exaggeration - including pictures and videos to submit a claim. 5 days later no one has called. No communication with a customer service human being. No appointment in the works to schedule someone to come out.

Has anyone else had this experience with The Plunge company @thecoldplunge? Does this company even have real customer service?

I first met Lindsey Graham in 2006 when I was a young Lieutenant in the Navy. I was in Baghdad, and he had come as an activated reservist. He spent time with us in TF-134, Detainee Operations, and was incredibly engaged. He was very much trying to thoroughly understand the problems we were experiencing in the fast changing world of large (and lengthy) terrorist and insurgent detention.

Later in 2019, I spoke with Senator Graham when he was chairing Judiciary in support of my Solicitor General Lawrence Van Dyke. Months later, Lawrence had a Judiciary hearing and both Nevada Senators and many other Democrats took relentless and gratuitous shots at him. At the end of the hearing Senator Graham says, “Well, I only have one thing to say: when this Nomination came before me, I asked my good friend Adam Laxalt about Van Dyke and he told me that Lawrence would be the Scalia of the Ninth Circuit. That’s all I needed to hear. Now let’s vote!” Lindsey deeply cared about our bench, and understood the importance of putting legitimate, rock-solid conservatives in those lifetime appointments.

My next major encounter with Senator Graham was during the 2020 election. I was the Trump Chairman of Nevada, and he called regularly to ask how he could help. He really cared about winning these swing states and pulling out a 2020 reelect.

In 2021, when I decided to run for US Senate for the ‘22 midterms, Graham was huge supporter and cheerleader. He regularly offered to help raise money - including on the Hannity show with direct asks! At the end of election night, when we came out up 35K votes, Graham was the first Senator to call. As the week went on, and my lead began to shrink, Graham called daily to run through numbers. He would read all of the calculations he formulated himself showing my likelihood of holding. In the end, when we eventually went under by 7700 votes, he was one of the very few Senators to call to offer condolences.

I mention all of these personal experiences because I truly believe he understood the battle we are fighting for the future of our country. And he understood that the Democrats are willing to say and do whatever it takes to win and possess power. While conservatives didn’t always agree with Graham’s agenda, one thing is for sure: he cared for people, he tirelessly fought the left, and he bled for the GOP.
