@PointsMaster22 Totally agree honestly. It adds nothing to the overall story, and it’s lackluster on its own. I think they made too many prequels. It’s funny how much more enjoyable Peace Walkers story is. I kinda want a remake of PW with V’s gameplay.
@PointsMaster22 I agree the story can sit in a corner. That final mission that didn’t make it in would not have changed my mind about the story. By this point MGSV’s story is just redundant in the timeline, but the gameplay is why I’ve put 240+ hours into it.
@PointsMaster22@ravenblad3 I think the game is fun to play without the missing mission. How much content didn’t make it in is pretty on par with the whole series, the idea that the game being finished would magically make it fun for you is absurd. If you don’t like the 90% of the game that’s complete.
PC and Console gaming is cooked. It's over.
I think Gaming is in for a very difficult time. All hardware productions for GPUs and DRAM is being allocated to AI.
Look at the signs:
- nVidia says they are no longer a game hardware company, but an AI infrastructure company.
- Elon is starting his own chip fab because he says there is no way for existing GPU makers to fill the demand, even combined.
- RAM is non-existent. All manufacturers are shifting production of RAM to AI purposed RAM, leaving prices to double and possible double again next year.
- Rumors are swirling that all GPU production will HALT except for high end cards useful for AI.
- AMD, Xbox and others have announced price hikes on GPUs and consoles very soon.
This is all about hardware production shifting to meet AI demand which will far outstrip any other needs in 2026 and beyond. Until new factories are built, ALL of hardware will be going into producing AI datacenters and robots.
We will be in this hardware crunch for years, just like Covid but actually worse.
@SariegoAlonso@oliver_drk@YtsfgvdrNoIdea Instead they would rather hold onto as many dead IPs as possible, and killing off as many studios as possible. Sunset Overdrive 2 most likely will never exist, because Microsoft only wanted an old familiar PlayStation studio to make a game for them, to help sell their console.
@SariegoAlonso@oliver_drk@YtsfgvdrNoIdea Gears, and Halo are / will both be on PlayStation 5. Sony’s acquisition of Insomniac games isn’t stopping Sunset Overdrive 2 from happening. Microsoft could easily strike a deal with the position they are in.
@SariegoAlonso@oliver_drk@YtsfgvdrNoIdea Now it’s your turn to reread the tweet, they didn’t say the game only made $567. They said that’s all Insomniac made from it.
Bro couldn't be bothered to learn how to code something the average person could probably learn in an hour. Don't take advice from someone who can't even accomplish the simplest tasks on their own.
You’ve probably seen some of the games I’ve been building with AI.
I can't code. But with AI's help, I've built 15+ game prototypes in the past 6 months.
That process has been eye-opening. It made me realize how fast game creation is evolving and how much easier it’s becoming to turn ideas into playable worlds.
So I started Vibeforge, a Patreon where I share everything I’ve learned about using AI to make games:
- Step-by-step vibe-coding guides (like this top-down auto-shooter)
- Behind-the-scenes devlogs as I experiment with new prototypes
- Game boilerplates you can modify for your own projects
I’m joined by Aldric Chang, founder of the game studio behind @13z_game, @HellsweeperVR, Sairento VR and Gordian Quest.
While I focus on AI-driven experimentation, Aldric will be sharing real-world lessons from traditional game development: design, production, and marketing, bridging both worlds.
Whether you’re building your first prototype or dreaming up your next indie project, we welcome you to join us:

See you on the inside.
@BridgetSculpts @TheShadowCookie@SilentHill Right, which means sadly, if a player does not enjoy the game enough to replay it, all the work the devs put into the other endings is lost on them.
