This is interesting, Allen. Can you elaborate a bit on how TDD doesn't use unit tests? I thought that TDD is mainly based on unit tests.

But anyway, I would say that TDD itself *is* one of the best practices in SE. So is Continuous Delivery, DDD, clean code, SOLID principles, web API design patterns, and more.

Seriously though, this book provides a bunch of straightforward tips to keep the code easy to read, reason about, and change. I've been on teams that applied and didn't apply those guidelines. I can definitely tell the difference, it's astounding.

Hey Mick, you misrepresented the situation. She was fined for participating in a forbidden demonstration, not for wearing a keffiyeh. I've worn a keffiyeh multiple times in Paris, and I can assure you, the police don't bother.

Whether forbidding a demonstration and fining people for participating in it is justified, or even makes sense at all in a democracy, is a completely different matter.
