As Trump comes to visit a neighboring town in Michigan, one that used to be one of my beats as a local reporter, it hits me again that the only things Trump has in common with a large portion of his base are bigotry and Fox News.

Here’s some screenshots of @elonmusk’s daughter outing him as a liar. As he sat with @jordanbpeterson and discussed how the country needs a pathological liar & narcissist to be president, he literally lied about his own family. #elonmusk#jordanpeterson
As it turns out, the “woke mind virus” is actually what happens to fragile, insecure men when they can’t wrap their heads around the fact that they’re just bad fathers. Eh, @elonmusk?
In the wake of today’s horrific shooting at a Trump rally, Trump is receiving the type of grace that he has withheld from others. Listen to how he reacted to the conspiracy to kidnap Governor Whitmer. 1/

@JohnHMcCallum1 That characterization is completely untrue. Sure, some are playfully taking on the “hate label,” but people like Stephen Wolfe are, in all seriousness, embracing it as an identity. He literally wrote a book called ‘The Case for Christian Nationalism.’
@JohnHMcCallum1 I am decidedly not a “leftist” or a “conspiracy theorist.” There are many self-described Christian nationalists on this platform, some who stand in pulpits on Sunday. There are self-described Christian nationalists in congress.
Wow. Michigan Republican Representative Tim Walberg, on Gaza:
“We shouldn’t be spending a dime on humanitarian aid. It should be like Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Get it over quick.”
