Tomorrow I will take the No Jab No Pay repeal bill to a vote in the Senate.

The current law is particularly harsh. In simple terms, it says to parents, inject your children according to the government schedule, or we will cut your family payments.

For some families, that can mean losing up to $35,000 a year.

In a free society, I do not believe that is acceptable.

As a crossbench Senator, I only get one real opportunity each year to bring a bill forward for debate and I chose this one.
