@avfc_stef From what I’ve seen, FIFA are to subsidise up to a certain amount which allows us to remove his wages and whatnot until he’s back and cleared.
FIFA’s going to burn for this.
UEFA calls them out. Trump owns up to it too. Teams/Associations are going to lose their minds. Asterisk on any win the U S M N T may have from now on.
Almost as if you should’ve left it alone.
Trump on Balogun: "I saw the play, and I'm a person that loves sports ... that wasn't a foul. That wasn't even an infraction ... this referee, who is a little bit suspect if you check his past. He made a call that nobody could believe ... he's our best player, or one of our best players. And he gave him a red card. I didn't know what that meant ... yes, I asked for a review by FIFA."
Any England fan who doesn’t stay up to watch the England game live tonight, is not an actual fan and should be banned from ever posting about football again.
If they’d brought it forwards, they’d royally screw over England fans because they’d have removed any chance of winning by making the team fight at altitude in even warmer weather conditions. Not to mention the fans who booked transport around that kickoff time.
If the FA have genuinely opposed a 7pm kick off in favour for a 1am kick off then they have royally screwed over all England fans.
Kids can’t watch the game live now, adults have to stay up until 3am, there is zero logic behind it.
@JordynneGrace You suggest other alternatives or say shall we pick something when we’re there, then have matching tattoos of an experience you’ve shared.
Depending where in the UK she’s from, you could have regional tattoos instead.
🇨🇼 After Curaçao's historic draw with Ecuador, one image went viral across the world.
As the final whistle blew, cameras found a fan painted completely blue, filming the celebrations with tears running down his face.
His name is Payo, and he's spent more than a decade following Curaçao everywhere. He paints himself blue to represent the island's sea and remembers the days when barely 100 fans were in the stands supporting the team.
🗣️ "I've been there since we were 100 in the stadium, now everyone supports us."
Now he's watching his country live out its World Cup dream on the biggest stage of all.
Some fans support a team. Others help build it. Big up, Payo. 🫶💙
@the_mediaman1 Anything before but is dismissed by the second part of your statement.
The others have mostly underperformed and Konsa (statistically, removing my Villa bias) has been head and shoulders above Stones and Guehi respectively.
Imagine slagging off Konsa, who has outperformed and had to cover both of his partners in this tournament so far.
Standout in the Premier League, carrying it on internationally.
It's probably stating the obvious but Djed Spence, Noni Madueke, Anthony Gordon, Reece James and Ezri Konsa are all very good footballers.
But if that's 5 of your starting XI you probably aren't going to win the World Cup.
@StanCollymore It was stagnant and repetitive.
England didn’t need 2 holding midfielders, they needed to play through the lines and move the ball.
Give Watkins a go, play 2 10s and solidify the wings.
It’s Panama, but if they’re expecting stagnant, they’ll be confident for a smash n grab
Yes, it is THAT deep.
What message does it send that he’s out there playing for his country and other players (role models) are hugging him and whatnot?
Because you’re facing trial for 7 counts of rape. None of them should have shook your hand, let alone the love Declan Rice gave you at the end of the game.
NEW:🚨 Thomas Partey on Djed Spence not shaking his hand:
“I don’t really know the reason, and honestly, that’s something only he can answer. I don’t want to give it too much attention because football is about respect and focusing on the game.
If there’s anything behind it, hopefully he reflects on it himself and understands why he made that decision. As for me, I’m completely fine. I have no issues with anyone and I wish him all the best.
I stay focused on my football, my family, and my faith. I serve the living God, and that gives me peace regardless of what happens around me.”
