@LawrieHooper Bit late to be asking questions isn’t it? If you thought this, should you not have been raising this flag somewhat earlier in the process!? Presumably you already know the answer too?
@LawrieHooper Nothing like an MHK undermining local authority thinking outside the box and doing something to preserve and improve our town centres for the public and for businesses.
What are you doing as an MHK to support initiatives and come forward with solutions to address real problems?
@LawrieHooper It’s genuinely worrying that you don’t seem to grasp that this includes you in the public eye. Also, I’m not sure your only tactic of sniping at others is the best way to win votes…. But on the bright side, don’t let me persuade you otherwise, in fact, please do continue
@LawrieHooper Lawrie, it’s quite boring listening to you tell people how they could do things better and you constantly criticising. Why don’t you set an example by coming up with your own ideas and leading the way. After-all, that’s what leaders are supposed to do…
@LawrieHooper How did your motion go in Tynwald Lawrie? Not seen anything - although in the absence of it being progressed as you so resolutely proclaimed it would be, it seems to me that your personal views are not supported by your colleagues in Tynwald…

@LawrieHooper Could you could explain your economic theory? Last time this happened, only businesses benefitted, cost to consumer stayed the same and in some instances went up…
@LawrieHooper It seems you didn’t like it when the CM brought real evidence to the table that outlined you were already guilty of the things you were accusing others of @LawrieHooper ?
On the same note, your prima donna comment is a true reflection of your inner self - thanks for the insight.
@LawrieHooper You say Tynwald wouldn’t support transferring “big costly things to LA’s” but that’s not a guarantee, it has already happened in the past, now there’s a legal endorsement to support it in the future.
@LawrieHooper Perhaps if you worked with the local authority and central government to represent the needs of the Town and other parishes as an MHK should, then there’s a chance you’d be able to help resolve the issue, rather than stand in the sidelines sniping.
