Almost 9 in 10 small-town pastors (88%) expect their church to be stronger in 10 years, including 53% who strongly agree. Just 11% disagree, and 1% aren’t sure. https://t.co/CSkgOO9UHC via @LifewayResearch

@jonnyess8@MissedApexF1@mattpt55@ChrisOnRacing Agree that the super license system isn’t good, particularly in its treatment of IndyCar as compared to, say, F2. But Palou does have a superlicense. Each of his championships earned him 40 points (so two championships in a row still on his three year record is more then enough).

A group of Grove City College men and their residential staff teamed up to serve the local church and other organizations near Grove City. They spread out across several communities to make a difference through service! It’s the first of what we hope will be many such service days that connect COLLEGE, CHURCH, and COMMUNITY through the CRM’s partners. @GroveCtyCollege

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Grove City College has received a $5 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to support the Center for Rural Ministry (CRM) as it helps rural pastors, congregations, and communities thrive.
The funding through Lilly Endowment’s Ministry in Rural Areas and Small Towns Initiative is a game changer for the CRM and its mission to bolster the partnership between the College, the church, and community, according to Dr. Charles Cotherman ’06, executive director of the Center.
“This funding will enable the CRM to expand our core programs to rural and small town churches in the region and beyond and extend the impact of our work by creating a hub for other colleges and universities to share and scale up programs and initiatives we develop with pastors, CRM staff, faculty, students, and communities,” Cotherman said.

A brief essay on my new book: "When we’re blinded by technological determinism—in either its optimistic or its pessimistic variant—we neglect the possibilities that always exist for more convivial technological practices and arrangements." https://t.co/8mj8vfbbfI
