4 books a year

That’s my number.

Give or take I’ve been illustrating 4 books a year since I started. That’s too many for some people, too few for others.

My last 3 books were nonfiction, the next 3 are fiction.

Having the two genres, have helped me stay in work.

Within those genre’s I work in 4 areas of specialism. Animals, Monsters, History and Science

Staying within these specialisms help me build credibility and momentum. My wife jokes and calls me a wildlife specialist, I guess I’ve become that.
