@Avabelly__ This is just as idiotic as all your other rage baiting posts. I'm sure you say things like this to get clicks and comments. Why don't you get a real job and stop bothering people.
@ronsterd89 As everyone is saying Green Acres and Petticoat Junction. Some are saying Beverly Hillbillies, I was thinking Mayberry RFD or the Andy Griffith show.
@zitogust@Simon_Ingari The US has plenty of labor laws. Unfortunately, paying out a 2-week notice after early termination is not one of them. Its common practice for some companies as a courtesy/policy or if it's in a contract or Union negotiations they have to pay. But unfortunately it's not the law.
@premiumcapture@Simon_Ingari I wasn't sure so I looked it up. The US doesn't operate that way. Most employment is 'at will' - either party can separate at any time without cause - no pay. Some companies pay as a courtesy/policy, others for contractual/Union requirements, but it's not the law.

@tfreyguy@Simon_Ingari I wasn't sure so I researched it. Most US companies are "at will* employment - they can end your employment at any time. Don't have to pay you. Some pay out of policy/courtesy, but not legally bound, unless there's a contract/Union stipulation, they don't have to pay you.
@CleavageCrumbs@TaraBull I agree it's up to the employer to pay them a proper salary and then we can leave tips for what they're supposed to be for, that is good service, not to supplement their income. Just my thoughts...
@CleavageCrumbs@TaraBull Some places have a lot higher minimum wage and there's no way of knowing. So to say we have to subsidize their salaries could mean different things in different restaurants.
@CleavageCrumbs@TaraBull to bring the wage up to federal min wage. So no one gets paid $2.13 an hour, or not legally. There are a lot of servers and restaurant personnel that get paid much higher than minimum wage, but we just don't know. So I think in some cases they are taking advantage of consumers.
@CleavageCrumbs@TaraBull There's a couple problems with this. There are only about 20 states that servers can get paid $2.13 an hour. Most states have a higher minimum wage, so it supersedes the minimum federal wage. In the states that still have the $2.13 an hour, employers are required
@Rollmop7053@Beno10_MFC I, like most people, didn't think of that. You're probably right, but do you really have to get angry because people got tricked by a trick question? If that's the correct answer, which it probably is, the whole purpose of it being worded like that is to trick people.
@Crowns11Casting@Beno10_MFC I don't believe it can be. If so then the little hand would be past the large line or past the hour. It's just before an hour mark. So that means it has to be a few minutes before an hour.
@greg16676935420 You forgot to mention that if it's a leap year you can multiply that by 4 four so instead of $18,250 you would have 3 and 1/2 million $'s! I'm going to start saving $0.50 a day starting January 1st next leap year! Woohoo, Early retirement here I come! Thanks for posting!
