@freelander97 @UzziMajid Andrews is almost identical to Frank in strengths and weaknesses. I don’t think the board were looking to upgrade on Frank, just find someone who was just like him. Whilst i believe we’ll be fine with Andrews, it’s unlikely he’ll be the one to take us to the next level.

@rianmbfc Collins had 2 great chances to get his headers on target and messed up. Surely Ajer would do better there.

@garydennis1957 @joshh_bfc He’s very much similar to Thomas Frank in that way. Both were reluctant to make changes out of fear of losing the game. Maybe with a stronger squad Andrews will be braver but I doubt it.

@UzziMajid In hindsight it wasn’t the smartest of decisions by the recruitment team to loan out the likes of Onyeka, Konak, Nunes. I know they’re not starters but it at least would have been better cover on the bench than what we currently have.

@freelander97 So fed up with Andrews refusing to utilise the bench. He’s clearly not confident in anyone outside of the starting 11. I understand we have very little depth but when players get fatigued late in matches it’s better to switch it up than do nothing at all.

@GusMarcel6 @brentford_daily Agreed. He has a lot of potential but he’s not currently performing at the level we need right now. Better as a bench player.

@Truth1But @rianmbfc Our coaching team aren’t a brave bunch that’s for sure. Would rather play it safe and settle for the 0-0 than take any sort of risk and try and get something more.

@brentford_daily He genuinely looks clueless most of the time he gets the ball. I think he was a better player last season, he’s struggling a lot right now.

@rianmbfc Chances of getting a European spot feel low given this string of poor performances doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon. On top of that we have injuries piling up which only highlights a lack of quality depth.
But I’m happy with the season we’ve had given what was expected.

@rianmbfc Underwhelming and disjointed performance for the most part. Bournemouth looked very comfortable on the ball whilst we looked very shaky. So I’ll take a point. Squad is looking a little thin in areas with injuries ramping up. Feel for Hickey and Henry.

@rianmbfc @liamhasnogame Damsgaard just has no confidence whatsoever anymore unfortunately. Feels very much like the old Damsgaard at the moment.

@rianmbfc Agreed, we’ve always struggled against low blocks since being in the prem with Frank. With a much changed coaching team this season, I’d hoped we’d have different ideas and strategies to better deal with the low blocks. But nothing has changed.

@rianmbfc Once again our substitutions make no positive impact on our performance. Like for like changes that offer nothing new. LP and Henderson coming on too late when the game is over. Schade should have come off for Nelson. Donovan should be given a chance too.

@rianmbfc Just wish Keith would get a handle on the substitution thing. He often leaves it too late to bring on fresh players and they make little difference. 5 attackers on the bench and he waits till the 77th min when we’re 2-0 down. Needs to be braver and make changes sooner.

@BrentfordFC One attacker on that bench. We desperately need another signing or two before the window closes.
