@Motor_Sport FE is like someone’s nerdy child who’s becoming a teenager interested in sports. Those fans feel they can literally see the sport grow up from its infancy lol
@formulaesource Finally! Solid news that this is a customer team or not; yet as customers will they still be funded by Porsche, or a subsidiary or even a on-paper partner?
@maxx_ev@formulaesource But that’s worse if Porsche team two is going to be the junior team, much like Red Bull and VCARB. Porsche isn’t going to have forked another racing licence if team two could actually beat Team Pascal.
@formulaesource I have no worries that full tracks and the new tracks of Season 13 will work (hello Brands Hatch), but I hope tracks like Tempelhof and Tokyo can be adjusted well for Gen4’s power.
@fe_notebook Well someone had to replace Nato. Luckily the Master of Last Place gets a better car, so nobody can excuse his driving on Lola Yamaha anymore.
@formulaesource Mixed news: good that Penske can survive for its drivers/crew, bad in that manufacturer politics are at play. Curious what if the team renames to. Jag Juniors?
@FIAFormulaE@Hankook_Sport So just to be clear: the FIA says it’s okay to cause crashes and they wouldn’t penalise your race result IF you’re the bookie’s favourite? They’ll just give you a grid penalty next year, while anyone else gets it this year? Got it.
@RichHalsall24@Motorsport Exactly this is Senna Prost all over again, but more frustrating because it happened in the last quarter of the race. Less of a tactical manoeuvre and more like throwing toys out the pram.
@Learning3fly@Magnus2331 There was tension between them because who had the priority from the team, and it was something said at São Paulo between them… whatever it was, it soured everything between them.
@formulaesource Wouldn’t be an issue if he was punished the same way everyone else has, but this just screams ‘we don’t want to offend Porsche by treating their star driver the same as anyone else’. Like he gets a grid drop NEXT SEASON while other get theirs in the race itself.
