Today, I attended and oversaw the formal handover of the consolidated agenda items and recommendations emerging from Ethiopia’s National Dialogue to the House of Peoples’ Representatives, the Federal Government, and Regional Governments.
This handover marks an important milestone in the National Dialogue process and reaffirms the commitment to addressing Ethiopia’s longstanding challenges through inclusive dialogue, peaceful deliberation, and nationally owned solutions.
This year’s #HoraFinfinneIrreecha Festival concluded peacefully and joyfully, celebrating our rich cultural heritage, traditions, and shared values.
On behalf of myself and the #AddisAbaba City Administration, I extend my sincere appreciation to the people of Addis Ababa for their warmth and Ethiopian hospitality, and to the Abba Gadas, Haadha Siinqees, Fooles, security personnel, leaders, and partners whose contributions made the celebration meaningful and successful.
May God bless #Ethiopia and its people.

The responsibility entrusted to us is not a privilege; it is a trust we are duty-bound to uphold.
Over the past five years, we have worked to transform Addis Ababa, restore the dignity of its residents, and make our city worthy of its name. The progress achieved is encouraging, but it also carries with it a greater responsibility for the work ahead.
Going forward, our success will be measured not only by projects completed or figures reported, but by the tangible difference our work makes in people’s daily lives: easing the burden on families, expanding opportunities for young people, enabling businesses to access public services with dignity, and improving access to quality housing, education, healthcare, clean water, roads and transportation.
Ultimately, development must be reflected in the improved quality of life of our residents. This is the standard we will continue to uphold as we work together to build a more livable, inclusive and dignified Addis Ababa.
May God bless #Ethiopia and its people.

May God bless #Ethiopia and its people.

Together with @IsmailOguelleh and @AlikoDangote, to day we announce a major strategic investment connecting Damerjog in Djibouti to Dewele in Ethiopia through a new refined petroleum products pipeline, supported by storage terminals at both ends.
The project will be developed through a partnership between Ethiopian Investment Holdings and the Dangote Group. This landmark infrastructure will reduce logistics costs and delays, strengthen energy security, and enhance the efficiency and resilience of the Ethiopia–Djibouti corridor.
More than a pipeline, this is an investment in future growth, regional integration and a more secure shared economic future—with African investment at its center.
