@Raquel_L_Rod @JennieChavez15 I think the students sale themselves short and do not allow themselves to grow. My team can encourage students to read small chapter books or increase their reading level gradually to help the students reading ability.

@Raquel_L_Rod @JennieChavez15 To establish meaningful relationships I tell my students that I am open to feedback as to why an assignment was not completed or how they feel about any situations that has affected their well being. When a student feels reluctant or refuses to engage I encourage communication.
