Lifelong curiosity often is rooted in mild paranoia.
Expertise often repels paranoia and makes people less interested in learning new things.
Those who don’t wish to be learning machines will find it difficult in times to come.

Jeff Bezos: Thinking small is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
It’s generally human nature to overestimate risk and underestimate opportunity.
And so, I think entrepreneurs in general would be well advised to try and bias against that piece of human nature.
The risks are probably not as big as you perceive, and the opportunities may be bigger than you perceive.
Today is the day that last year same date a ghastly beastly brutality was carried out by Hamas against innocent Israeli men, women, babies and children. It will never be forgotten in the annals of history.
I had long ago told folks here on few spaces that the government will soon start putting meters on water pipes for monetising it just like tolls on roads. No one is going to talk about solving the water management , conservation and harvesting problems. The pipeline that supplies Cauvery water to Bengaluru dates back to British Raj and today more than 50% of the water it carries is lost to leakage . Yet no one talks about fixing it instead bean counters in academia and government are happy suggesting people to use water aerators or talk about charging for water .

Steve Jobs left us with timeless wisdom that continues to inspire. In a classic 1994 interview, he shared an invaluable lesson: "Most people never pick up the phone and call. Most people never ask, and that's what separates the people who do things from the people who just dream about them."
At the age of 12, Jobs mustered the courage to call Bill Hewlett, co-founder of Hewlett-Packard, and asked for spare parts to build a frequency counter. Not only did he get the parts, but he also secured a summer job at HP.
This simple act taught Jobs a vital lesson: Be willing to ask for what you want. In the business world, fear often holds us back from seeking help or making requests. Research shows that 75 to 90 percent of all workplace help begins with asking.
Does your workplace foster an environment where employees feel safe and encouraged to ask for help? Consider introducing the concept of a reciprocity ring, where helping and problem-solving becomes second nature.
When we embrace the power of asking, we build a culture of trust, collaboration, and success.
