ICEman: 1/10, I didn't need 70 min of Drake bitching about a beef he's still actively trying to kill free speech over
HABIBTI: 3/10, π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄
MAID OF HONOUR: 6/10, somehow incredibly messy, heavy on cultural appropriation, and somehow top 3 Drake of all time.
2 of the best albums of the year just dropped today. Go listen to them.

Imaginal Disk - Magdalena Bay 8.5/10 (2024)
Me after the first song:
Oh god, this is gonna be another massively beloved album that I just don't like, isn't it?
Me after finishing the album:
My life has been forever changed based on pure vibes alone.
Almost There - TiaCorine 5.5/10 (2024)
On one hand the production on here is some of my favorite of 2024 and there are features I will definitely be returning to, but Tia comes off like Carti or any other opium member. It's a unique project though, so be sure to check it out.
My favorite things about this album are Robin's turn to rock music, present on a bunch of songs here such as the midwest emo intro, and the production on the rap cuts, which spans boom bap to what I can only describe as Dreamcast rap. 9.5/10, easily one of the best albums of 2024
I SO CRAZY β€οΈ - iso 3G 6.5/10 (2024)
I'll be honest, the first two tracks definitely had me feeling my age, but the album starts becoming comprehensible by the third track and hits some hard hitting rager energy by the end.
Another album that I listened to when it came out, but didn't rate at the time. It's held up well since it came out, and it's probably my favorite Paak album so far. Soulful, funky, amazing singing, quality features, all backed by Dr.Dre himself, there's nothing to hate here.
Scrapyard - Quedecca 6/10 (2024)
It was alright. It's a bit more memorable than his last album, but I think there's something I'm missing here, because he has VERY devoted fans, when all I hear is an artsy yeat with a soft side. Let me know what I'm missing in the comments
We're back to regular reviews, and we're getting controversial with the greatest(?) Kanye album of all time, and why I think it's a bit overrated
