Good info from recent @NCAA D1 Ticker—The college sports industry is operating under a deeply flawed financial model, according to James Moore & Co. Partner Katie Davis.
Davis warns that many D1 athletic departments are facing an unsustainable structural deficit, where administrators are masking massive budget gaps with university subsidies and borrowed money!
Davis adds: “The opportunity isn’t to save college sports. It’s to finally manage it like something worth sustaining!”
