I studied Environmental Management & Toxicology.
Then somehow… I found myself learning how to code. 😂
HTML → CSS → JavaScript → React → Next.js → Backend → APIs → Databases.
At first, it looked like I was changing careers.
Nineteen graduates left Ibadan to serve Nigeria. On Independence Day, gunmen took them off the Owerri–Onitsha road at Umunoha and marched them into the bush. Families were later shown a video of them sitting on the ground, crying, and told the price is ₦50 million each. That is ₦950 million for people who have not even collected their first allawee. This is not an isolated crime. It is what happens when we keep sending batches of young people down the same highways, on the same dates, into the same corridors.
BREAKING 🚨: Abductors who seized 19 graduates travelling from Ibadan, Oyo State, for their National Youth Service Corps orientation camps have demanded N950 million for their release
Sad!!
If you anyone you know took a bus from Samonda around Brava Hotel to Akwa Ibom for NYSC🥺

I'm applying for the @flyrank_ai AI Internship to become more AI-native and learn how to build useful systems with agents, not just prompt them. I believe FlyRank can help me get found in AI search. Looking forward to learning from @alenmalkoc and the team.
#FlyRankAI
to help address real challenges such as flooding, pollution, waste management, climate change, environmental monitoring, and climate education.
I’m still learning, still building, and keep providing solutions
But the mission is clear:
Let’s build for a healthier planet.
On Friday, I graduated from @notzerohub as a Full-stack developer
My journey has taken me through HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, TypeScript, APIs, backend development, and databases.
It hasn’t been easy. I’ve built, broken, debugged, and created new bugs while fixing
I’ve also had moments of wondering, “Do I really know what I’m doing?”
But I kept learning and the journey clarified my mission.
With a background in Environmental Management & Toxicology, I want to combine:
Environmental science
Full-stack development
GIS
Sustainability

Michael is learning Full Stack Development at Notzero Academy but what has the experience actually been like?
We asked him about his journey, challenges, projects and what he can do now that he couldn’t do before.
But the more I learned, the more I realized:
I wasn’t leaving environmental science.
I was adding another tool to it. 🌍
My background taught me to look at problems like:
Waste management
Flooding
Pollution
Sustainability
Climate change
Environmental risk
